CMP for Initial Reporting Period

You took the LEED AP exam for New Construction back when it was version 2.2. You passed. You became a LEED AP. Then they changed the whole system. You now find yourself needing to enroll in the Credentialing Maintenance Program under a chosen specialty in order to maintain your credential.

Me too.

All the information issued by GBCI is in these two documents:

CMP | Enrollment Guide : This outlines the general requirements for all specialties. It also defines the types of activities you can participate in for the CMP.

CMP | Enrollment Guide for LEED AP’s with no specialty : This is super important for those of us who transitioned from the old system to v3 and have only recently declared a specialty – in other words we selected ‘Option 2 – Prescriptive Credential Maintenance’ as opposed to retesting. The first time we do this CMP thing (the ‘initial reporting period’), we have to abide an extra set of requirements, which are outlined in this document. Regard this as a supplement to the previous document which overwrites the information about CMP reporting categories.

For quick reference and clarification for myself, I have posted a few things on this topic. Let me know if you would like to see anything else up, and I will try. All of the links below are to my posts which I wrote referencing the documentation mentioned above from GBCI. Please note the date of my posts and the date of the documents issued by GBCI. They DO change and revise them frequently.
