LEED NC v2.2 Study Blog Archive

All material on the following pages has been moved to this location as of December 2009.

Please use the drop down menu above to find the archived pages.

This blog began as my personal journey through the LEED AP Exam material. By rewriting material from the reference guide and explaining it to myself (and whoever is watching), I hoped to somehow force my brain to memorize the lists of credits and their requirements, numerical values, and standards. Somewhere down the line, I hoped to become a LEED AP.

Luckily, as of the end of May, I can now call myself a LEED AP. I’ve decided to keep this blog up to help others who may be looking for study help. I will also be updating it when I begin studying for LEED AP Homes specialization in autumn. Please visit Emu Architects’ website and blog for more information about sustainable architecture.

I primarily used the NC reference manual v 2.2, 3rd edition provided by USGBC, and the practice test package offered by Green Building Education Services for LEED New Construction. Also please, check out some of the other study aids that I recommend.

Please check back for LEED 2009 v3 updates throughout the summer and autumn of 2009. I will eventually be taking the specialization test for LEED AP Homes, but probably not for a few months (need to enjoy my summer!).

*** Please use this blog in conjunction with your copy of the NC reference manual v 2.2, 3rd edition and the sample credit templates provided by USGBC. ***
