welcome
Welcome to the new and improved ‘Somewhere Down the Line’ blog, now with a focus on
life as a new LEED AP.
After passing the exam in May 2009, I was able to enroll in the specialty designation BD&C (Building Design and Construction) under the new LEED v3 system.
I have kept all previous material that helped me and many other people study for the v2.2 NC AP exam, but I will now be shifting the focus of my posts to the following subjects:
- Credentialling Maintenance Program (CMP) for LEED AP’s with and without specialties
- online course reviews and suggestions for continued education (both LEED specific and in general)
- important updates as a result of the transition to the new LEED v3 2009 system
- shared posts with the Emu Architects’ blog about the trials and tribulations of setting up a small architectural practice in Italy
(updated 03 December 2009)
Please visit Emu Architects’ website and blog for more information about sustainable architecture.

Hi,
Just ran into your blog from your link on the ARE Forum/Leed Tops and I’m just so dead-impressed I wanted to tell you – cool! What a great study tool, and an interesting way to use a blog. Good luck, sounds like you know your stuff!
- Laura.
Thanks Laura!
You have great timing. I am taking the test tomorrow, and the encouragement is greatly appreciated!
You should check back in the future, because it looks like I will need to do the LEED Homes specialization test under the new LEED 2009 system, and I will probably use the blog-study technique again.
One step at a time for now….
